Shade gardens are a great hobby and have been for centuries in countries across the world. The limitless range of plants, trees, flowers and vines that you can add to your garden makes it interesting and nice to relax in, not to mention gardening also keeps you fit.

In contrast to gardens that attract a lot of sunlight, you often find that a shade garden can look dull and boring. But, it doesn't need to be!

Shade gardens may have limitations, in that you cannot get rich colours due to under exposure to sun, but you still have many plants that can thrive in shaded areas. Shade gardening is certainly more challenging but in no way less thrilling a hobby than gardening a plot that gets lots of sunshine all day.

If you love working with plants and like to push your creativity a notch further, it would be great if you could share some photos of your garden with other visitors to this site.
